About House Plant Dropship
Originally working out of the humble house selling all types of house plant related items, HousePlantDropship was launched in 2019 to service plant entrepreneurs. Turns out, selling plants online can be fun and profitable. With investments made in shipping infrastructure and integration systems, HousePlantDropship plans to be the ultimate destination for plant businesses.
Today, we still treat every order with the same care as we did working out of the small backyard and garage we started in, except for now the plants are kept and shipped from our greenhouses.We work with a small group of plant farmers around Southern California and Florida to Dropship Plants Nationwide. Southern California and Florida have the optimal climate to grow healthy, strong plants. With the help of our team and distribution infrastructure, you can rest assured that the customer will receive a healthy thriving plant all year around.
Once you have an order you need shipped, you will simply place the order on your customer's behalf through this website. There are no order minimums. Just order exactly what’s needed and we will ship it directly to your customer. All Packaging is Non-Branded and on the receipt and ship-from info, it will say “Your Plant Order.”We also have auto-integration options for Shopify and Woo-Commerce webstores.  You can learn more HERE

Membership & Platform Access
Service Fee's: Monthly Membership Fee - $30/Month
Ordering Process: Once you have an order you need shipped, you will simply place the order on your customer's behalf on this website. Just be sure to enter the correct customer's shipping address. If you have multiple orders to process at once, there is an option to split up the order and ship to multiple addresses. This is useful if you have multiple orders to process.
Inventory Tracking: It will be up to you to export our inventory file and import it into your online shop. Our inventory is constantly changing and for best results we recommend updating it 3 times weekly. You can download the latest inventory through our active inventory sheet found under the resources tab on our websites main navigation.
Auto-Integration Methods:
We offer auto integration methods for customers using Shopify and Woo-Commerce web platforms. Please contact us for more details. You can learn more
Shipping & Cancelled Orders
We try to price our plants as competitively as possible. We see our dropshipping partners making a 30%-40% margin while keeping prices competitive within the market. We will continue to lower costs of shipping and plants as we grow and we hope to pass the savings on to you! You will be charged the wholesale plant cost + shipping charges which is based on weight. For cancellations, please email us immediately so we can cancel the order in our system.
Refunds & Credits
What is Covered
  • Damaged Plants: If plants are damaged during shipment and meet the outlined criteria, they qualify for either a refund or replacement.
  • Healthy Plant Guarantee: The company ensures that all plants arrive in healthy condition if ordered correctly.
  • Refunds for Damaged Items Only: Refunds are issued only for the cost of the plants themselves, not for shipping costs.
What is Not Covered
  • Cold Damage Without Heat Packs: During cold months, heat packs must be added to orders shipping to cold regions. Orders without heat packs that suffer cold damage will not be refunded or replaced.
  • Courier Delays or Lost Packages: Issues such as courier delays or lost-in-transit orders are not covered under their guarantee.
Process for Refund or Replacement
  1. Email the company at info@houseplantdropship.com with:
      • A picture of the damaged item.
      • The order number and shipping information.
  1. For auto-integrated dropship partners, use the designated form to track issue orders monthly.
  1. Refunds are processed within 3–5 business days, and only one replacement order will be issued per claim.
Additional Notes
  • Address changes for processed orders must be submitted within 24 hours to avoid complications.
  • As a small business, response times may take 1–2 days during weekdays.

Winter Protection Policy
When to Use Winter Protection
  • Winter protection is recommended for orders shipping to areas where daytime temperatures drop below 45°F.
  • This applies during the winter months, typically from November to April14.
What Winter Shipping Protection Includes
  • Heat Packs: Multi-day heat packs are added to shipping boxes to maintain a warm and consistent temperature, preventing plants from freezing or going into shock during transit.
  • Cold Weather Guarantee: Orders with winter shipping protection are eligible for refunds or replacements if plants arrive with cold damage.
How to Add Winter Protection
  • The winter shipping protection must be manually added to your cart when placing an order. Without it, orders damaged by cold weather will not qualify for refunds or replacements.
Important Notes
  • Heat packs are sourced from HeatPackUSA and are designed to release heat gradually over time, protecting plants from freezing and maintaining proper moisture levels inside the box.
  • Orders without winter protection added will not be covered under the refund or replacement policy for cold damage.

How are live plants shipped?

Where do the plants ship from?
Plants are shipped from greenhouses located in Southern California and Central Florida. These locations provide optimal growing conditions, ensuring healthy plants year-round.
How should I price my plants?
House Plant Dropship does not enforce Minimum Advertised Pricing (MAP). For example:
  • A 4" houseplant with a wholesale cost of $5 and shipping cost of $9 could be priced between $20–$27.
  • A 6" houseplant with a wholesale cost of $12 and shipping cost of $15 could be priced between $33–$50
How do I handle damaged or incorrect orders?
If an order arrives damaged, email info@houseplantdropship.com with the order number and photos of the issue. They will process refunds or replacements on a case-by-case basis.
Can I change an address after placing an order?
Yes, you can update an address by emailing info@houseplantdropship.com as soon as possible. Orders typically ship within 24–48 hours, so prompt communication is essential.
